A Center of Excellence will be dedicated to providing inpatient hospital care for children with arterial and venous injuries. This includes rapid diagnosis and urgent management by a specialized team available around the clock. Care will be guided by advanced imaging, evidence-based treatments, and careful medication use, aiming to prioritize a child’s wellbeing.

A Center of Excellence will establish a multidisciplinary clinic designed as a one-stop destination for pediatric vascular surgery concerns. Children with suspected artery or vein issues can be evaluated in a welcoming, child-friendly setting. The clinic will offer on-site diagnostic testing and coordinated care, making it easier for families to get answers and support, all in one place.

A Center of Excellence will contribute data to research efforts aimed at improving evidence-based care in pediatric vascular trauma. This includes participation in the Pediatric Prospective Observational Vascular Injury Trial (Pedi PROOVIT), a multicenter registry working to establish standards of care. Additional studies will be supported through collaboration with other institutions, reinforcing a commitment to advancing clinical knowledge.
